R25 / 2 was manufacteurd between 1951 and 1953 in 38650 copies. N ° of engines: 245 001 - 283 650.

This model 250 cc OHV was given for a 105 km / h top speed.

Between the first series, R25 (N °: 220 001 - 243 400) produced in 23 400 copies between 1950 and 1951 and R25 / 3 (N ° 284 001 - 331 705) manufactured between 1953 and 1956 in 47 705 copies, it is no less than 109 755 models which were put into circulation.

The prohibition against Germany to build motorcycles over 250 cc was lifted in 1949.

This motorbike was manufactured the 30/10/1951 and delivered to the french importer Mr Latscha in Asnières the 5/11/1951. It had to stay as it. But a complete renovation of electrical circuit as the engine were necessary for its ride after 25 years of stocking. The parts which weren't originals on this model were changed.
